Yes. Timespree is free to use. You can create polls, collect unlimited responses, import calendars, convert time zones, and send reminders at no cost. Participants do not need an account to respond.
Do people need an account to respond?
No. Anyone with the link can mark their availability right away. Signing in is optional and open to everyone — create a free account whenever you want to save and manage the polls you create or respond to.
How is Timespree different from When2meet?
It keeps When2meet's fast shared-grid workflow but works properly on phones, converts time zones automatically, imports busy times from Google, Outlook, and Apple Calendar, and emails you as responses arrive.
Does it work on phones?
Yes. The availability grid is built mobile-first, so tapping and dragging your free times works on any phone browser. There is no app to install.
Can respondents import their calendar?
Yes. While filling in availability, anyone can overlay busy times from Google Calendar, Outlook, or Apple Calendar. Connected Google and Outlook users can choose which calendars should count, and Timespree only reads busy times—not event details.
How are time zones handled?
The organizer's event time zone stays visible on the grid. Each participant can choose a display zone to see converted slot details before responding.
How many people can respond to a poll?
There is no limit. Small friend groups, 30-person classes, and large volunteer teams all work; the heatmap simply gets more precise as responses come in.
